Reaction/Summary 1,2 & 3

Article 1: Violent Videogames
This article talks about violence and how television and video games can have a negative effect on children . The first couple of paragraphs talk about history of video games and its negative influences. Then it goes on by explaining how different methods were used to discover if video games were really violent or not. It also explained the different effects like quick anger when people play video games then the last paragraph touches on how video games can effect the youth. I personally don't agree with video games the have a lot of adult content and violence because they encourage violence. I have younger siblings that I wouldn't want to get ahold of these certain  games. I also feel if your of age then it's okay to play these certain games. 

Article 2: Weinstein, Harvey
This article was about a film producer name Havey Weinstein a film producer who went on CNN and announced that now he was no longer going to produce any more violent movies. He believed that the movies people where watching had an affect on them. He explained he wouldn't want his children to watch these types of violent movies he felt  if he produced any more violent movies he will become a hypocrite. "since we can't even agree whether guns cause violence there's little hope...." I personally enjoy these movies. I also understand that everybody cannot handle the amount of violence. 

Article 3: Columbine
This article was about Marilyn Mason and what he had to say about the Colorado school shooting. "It is sad to think that the first few people on earth needed no books, movies, games or music to inspire cold-blooded murder." This quote explains that we were able to be cold blooded murderers without any inspirations like music or books.The media points fingers and tries to find ways to get around situations. Was the cause of this murder from inspirations. There was investigation done that showed the killer listen to very violent music. At first I felt that Marilyn Monroe's music was very violent but once reading his perspective I definitely understand where he's coming from. I believe that Marilyn Monroe has a lot of good plates and I might just give his music is shot.
